Despite being a member of the North Atlantic Alliance, Poland plans to strengthen its armed forces.

Prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki during an interview with Polskie Radio explained, why his country wants to build the largest army in Europe.

According to Polskie Radio, citing Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, "We must have such a strong army that it has enough power of deterrence, and it should never have to be used."

Morawiecki called on all citizens to learn how to handle weapons by visiting shooting ranges and practicing shooting.

It's worth noting that Poland is starting the largest rearmament campaign in 50 years in response to the growing threat from Russia.

The country has also placed an order for 70,000 Grot automatic rifles for its army. The agreement with the manufacturer was signed on January 2 by Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak.

As Poland continues to prioritize its national security, it's taking measures to ensure its military is well-equipped and trained to handle any potential threats.
